July Events!

Bring out yer prototypes!

(Or just show up to playtest!)

When: Saturday, July 25th, noon to 4pm ET. (Google Calendar)
Where: Game Preserve North at Fashion Mall Commons, 8487 Union Chapel Rd Suite #660
Who: Anyone who wants to help each other make great games.
How to spot us: We’ll be pushing around sleeved bits of paper, pencil-scrawled index cards, and random bits from other games.

Indy TableTop Game Creators (https://indyttgc.org/) focuses on board and card games, but we’re interested in all kinds of games. Beginners are welcome! Early hand-scribbled prototypes are encouraged!

Last month we had at least 18 attendees and playtested at least 8 games! Please add a comment below telling us what prototype you plan to bring this month!

Gen Con pitch practice

Do you want to practice pitching your game? Come to Pre-Gen Con Pitching Practice! Pitch as if you’re showing your game to a publisher at Gen Con. Get feedback on it, your presentation, your sellsheets, field questions, watch others pitch, get used to pitching with others around, etc. Work out the kinks before Gen Con.
WHEN: Wednesday July 22nd, 6pm to 9pm
WHERE: TBA! (Sign up below!)
FORMAT: We’ll aim to give each pitch 20 minutes in front of at least 2 people. You may pitch additional games once everyone else has had a go.

Gen Con activities

We will be at table 11 in the Community Row area along the Sagamore Concourse. Drop by to say hello!

We’re also hosting Community Playtest Night on Thursday at 6pm. The event is sold out but we might find you a seat if you come by.

Painting Party at the DeKoven Center for Play this upcoming Saturday, July 18th at 11am-5pm. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
